PVRIS brought their summer tour to the iconic House of Blues in the heart of Chicago this past weekend. The band known for their unique song is hot off their 2023 album “EVERGREEN” as well as newly released singles leading up to their newest project. Opener Pale Waves set the tone with their signature Manchester sound comparable to The 1975.  The group performed a number of oldies as well as brand new single “Perfume.”

As for PVRIS, frontwoman Lynn Gunn brought the house down with a healthy mix of newer PVRIS work as well as tracks from their punk roots. They even included the bands recent collab “Burn The Witch” with Tommy Genesis and Alice Longyu Gao - as well as recent single “Oil & Water.” PVRIS is clearly a seasoned act. Lynn exclaimed it was the ensembles third time returning to House of Blues. The band, who’s now been performing together for 10+ years continues to fill their music with life, especially Lynn showing off her powerhouse vocals.

For both old fans and new, PVRIS made sure it was a night to remember filled with nostalgia, new experiences, and overall celebrating queerness.
