offset in Grand Rapids

Performing under a genre of music that is so heavily lyric-driven can make it difficult for many artists to capture the crowd’s attention, unless you are Offset. Backed by a full band, dancers, an incredible stage set up, and perfectly rehearsed choreography, it’s impossible to ignore the advanced artistry that is happening before your eyes. Offset, one of three members of world-renowned rap group Migos, took the stage in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 20, 2024 at the city’s GLC Live at 20 Monroe venue.

From the barricade to the last row of the balcony, fans were completely enthralled with the presence of this Georgia-born rapper. Offset performed a slew of tracks from his personal discography, but also paid tribute to his former group with songs like “Motorsport” and “Narcos” that seemed to really be audience favorites, and threw in a few singles he’s featured on like “Ric Flair Drip” and “Ghostface Killers”. With support from Mango Foo, SleazyWorld Go, and Skilla Baby, the energy in the venue was at full capacity from start to finish.

Offset’s Set It Off Tour brought rap and hip hop lovers from all over to sing, dance, and even mosh to his quick-witted lines and relish in the hard work and dedication that goes into being a successful rapper outside of a successful rap group. Under the pyrotechnics and laser show, Offset is a true performer. It’s clear to see that every detail of his set is meticulously thought out to get the maximum reaction from those in attendance.

The Set It Off tour continues in North American through April before moving on to United Kingdom in June and July. If you haven’t had a chance to see Offset live, we wholeheartedly recommend catching a show if you are looking for the complete concert experience.
