Pittsburgh-born Montell Fish performed his hometown show at the sold out Mr Smalls Theater to tour his new album, Charlotte.  The crowd was prepared to “bring the heat” and was excited to show Montell Fish what a hometown show could be.  Montell Fish writes about love, faith and grief and it touched the audience from the front going bar for bar with him to the back where people were cheering.  He sang songs from his newest album, “Charolette,” 2022 Albums “Her Love Still Haunts Me Like a Ghost.” and “Jamie,” and more.  He switched from his guitar to piano to singing in the audience and gave a performance the fans loved.  His performance that made audience members cry, sing and feel the music.  His singing was similar to his recordings, which made for a surreal listening experience, especially hearing his fans sing along with him.  With Montell Fish’s last song in his encore, “Fall in Love with You,” the crowd felt the weight of the heartfelt night come to an end.  The buzzing energy left from the concert was a feeling that lingered days after.  Fans could tell how special that show was and knew Montell Fish is not one to miss when he comes your way!
