On March 21, 2025, Brighton Music Hall in Boston was the place to be as Emei and Haiden Henderson delivered an electrifying performance that left the crowd buzzing.

Haiden Henderson kicked off the night with a blend of humor and high-energy music. He charmed the audience by joking about his resemblance to Pete Davidson and playfully asking whether Boston is Team Edward or Jacob. His set included a fun performance of “Bleachers” and wrapped up with “Sweat,” during which he asked fans to close their eyes and imagine they were in a club. The crowd eagerly complied, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

One of the standout moments was his rendition of “Sorry to Your Next Ex,” one of his older hits that had everyone screaming along to every word. Haiden’s ability to engage the audience and set the tone for an electrifying evening, made him the perfect opener for Emei.

Emei took the stage to a sold-out crowd, with fans dressed in red ribbons, sunglasses, leggings, and tees, showcasing their dedication. Her crowd engagement was nothing short of fantastic. At one point, she stepped into the audience and had everyone sit down around her as she performed “Ginger Tea,” a heartfelt song dedicated to her grandmother. The intimate setting and live loop vocals created a poignant moment of silence and connection. Emei commented that she hopes to continue doing this tradition till she can!

The energy skyrocketed with “Crazy Stupid Love,” getting everyone jumping and singing along. A humorous highlight was when a signed tee was thrown into the crowd, only to land with the sound guy, much to everyone’s amusement.

The night reached another peak when Haiden joined Emei on stage for a cover of “Baby,” showcasing the fun and camaraderie of touring with a best friend. Their chemistry and shared joy were palpable, making for a memorable performance.

Emei expressed her amazement at the Boston crowd, saying they were knocking it out of the park, even surpassing the high standards set by her Toronto show. She also delighted fans by adding the much-requested song “SUNNYD” to the setlist, with the crowd enthusiastically yelling “NOT ORANGE” during the second verse.
