CLIP in Pittsburgh
CLIP, a music artist in her 20’s based in New York, had an emotional performance in Pittsburgh, PA last Sunday. She has talked about how she pours her emotion into her music from early influences of gospel to inspirations like The 1975. Elements of her music could be seen throughout her set and Pittsburgh loved her. Cheering her on with every song that came on, though many were unfamiliar with her music. CLIP was an interactive performer and made sure to make the crowd know they were as much of the experience as she was. Seeing an opener so passionate about the performance and their music is refreshing. CLIP made sure to perform an unforgettable opening set. At one point, she came out into the center of the crowd where the DJ put on Travis Scott’s “FE!N” and people went wild. During the end of her vibrating set, she got emotional and expressed how important it was that the fans were supportive of her. Holistically, this opening set was one of the best I have seen in a while and CLIP was an entertainment not to miss!
