Billlie in Chicago

K-Pop girl groups Billlie met Chicago Belllie’ve for the first time, bringing their “Our FLOWERLD (Belllie’ve You)” tour to Chicago’s own Copernicus Center!

The seven piece, made up of Tsuki, Siyoon, Sheon, Haruna, Suhyeon, and Haram, was able to show off their expansive talents with fans through their expansive discography and unit stages. The setlist was full of songs new and old, including new additions from their most recent comeback, including title track “Trampoline!” The girls started out strong with crowdpleasers “RING X RING” and “flipp!ng a coin.” The unit performances consisted of two different stages, the first being the girl’s dance line showing off their versatility with crowd pleasing covers of aespa’s “Whiplash” and Lisa’s “MONEY.” Billlie’s vocal line brought the house down showing off their powerful vocals on a cover of Jessie J’s “Bang Bang.”

All seven members kept their energy at 100% throughout the night, sharing how excited they were to be in Chicago and sharing anecdotes from tour so far. A highlight was definitely “GingaMingaYo,” the track in which Billlie went viral for and skyrocketed them to success - the crowd did not disappoint, shouting back the fanchant to the girls.

To close out the set, the girls stripped it down performing “various and precious (moment of inertia)” a song about their fans, Belllie’ve! It was truly a special night for Chicago K-Pop fans. After Billlie’s first concert in Chicago, we can’t wait to see them back! Till then, Billlie’ve all across Grand America have chances to see them through mid-December!
