Moving between Los Angeles, California, and Nashville, Tennessee, singer/songwriter Anna Bates recently opened for Noah Cyrus on the Hardest Part tour. Stopping in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on September 26th, 2023, Bates played to a packed crowd at the Intersection.

While the show was nearly sold out, Bates’ sound is so soft and intimate you truly felt like the only person in the room.

Accompanied on stage by Van Andrew Berkemeyer, the duo played a slew of Anna’s music with grace and charisma. Berkemeyer and Bates are partners in music and in life, which further attributed to their contagiously beautiful on-stage appeal.
